The Scouts of 6th Peace Arch held a very successfull CJ07 fundraiser Garage Sale and wish to thank all the families and friends for the generous donations, and the Crescent Beach Legion 2643 for the use of their parking lot.
The sale was very successfull, raising quite a considerable contribution to the 6ths trip to CJ07

What a fantastic evening, when Mark Washington, of the BC Lions, gave a very motivating and informed talk to the troop. Once a Scout himself, when he was a boy in Washington DC, he really understood and spoke to the group, on what scouting has done form him and his life.
A very special thanks to Mark, for giving of his time, and to Scouter Rob Skleryk, for arranging and coordination Marks visit.
